Senior Adult Ministry
Are you interested in a place where you can connect with other mature adults? Would you like a special place where you can really belong? You can find such a place with the Senior Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Palatka.
Many mature adults are living along without adequate support and resources to live their mature years as God wants them to live. We are continuing to grow in our spiritual walk with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
We are sure that you can find YOUR place with us as we mature together.
Our goal is to offer the mature residents of the greater Palatka community the opportunity to be introduced to faith in Jesus Christ, the opportunity to live forever with Him and to assist these maturing residents as they mature into Christian person that God is going to grow them to become.
Our ministry includes organized Bible study every Sunday and every Wednesday. Our Bible studies are the major connection group for mature adults. We also have discipleship classes, special events, retreats, socials, conferences and other special times for maturing adults. Maturing adults can always find their place in our groups. We make every effort to make our ministry inclusive.
We Would be happy if you would join us soon. We want to help you make a difference in your mature years and we wont you to make a difference in ours. We are maturing together!
Our Bible times are: Sunday 10:15 a.m. and Wednesday 6:15 p.m.
